Title:Stabilization effect of magnetic field on the compressible fluids

Abstract:In the talk, I will present several new results on the MHD equations. Especially, our results imply the stabilization effect of magnetic field on the compressible fluids.

Speaker Profile:Dr. Xiaoping Zhai is an associate professor at Guangdong University of Technology. His research focuses on the stability of solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations in fluid mechanics. He has previously led and successfully completed a Young Scientists Fund project from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and a General Program project from the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation. He is currently leading a Guangdong Outstanding Young Scientists Fund project. He has published numerous SCI-indexed papers in leading international journals such as SCM, M3AS, and SIAM.
